Lisa Owings graduated in 2015 from the University of Akron with a J.D. and LL.M. in Intellectual Property. She is currently a licensed attorney in twelve states, and practices solely in debt defense, representing debtors who have run into financial difficulties.

Ari Witkes

Ari Witkes is an accomplished attorney and advocate known for commitment to intelligent and meaningful legal representation. He graduated from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2016. Ari embarked on a path of impactful service. He joined the Ohio Consumers Counsel, where he championed the rights of consumers, gaining invaluable experience and insights into the intricacies of consumer protection law.

Ari has been deeply involved in various non-profit organizations, serving on their boards and contributing to their missions. His passion and legal acumen made him an asset to these organizations, helping them navigate legal complexities while staying true to their goals. He is also a board member of the innovative tech software startup, Atkos.

In 2018, Ari founded the Witkes Law Firm, driven by a vision to provide clients with intelligent and meaningful representation. His extensive experience on both the creditor and consumer sides of the debt industry gives him a unique perspective when advocating for her clients. Ari’s blend of legal knowledge, empathy, and strategic thinking has earned him a reputation as a trustworthy and effective advocate.

Antranig Garibian

Antranig Garibian maintains an active litigation practice throughout the state and federal courts of New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey. For years, Mr. Garibian has represented and advised clients ranging from large publicly traded companies to small and individually held businesses.  Mr. Garibian holds a Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and a Juris Doctorate from Temple University. Mr. Garibian frequently writes articles and speaks on a wide array of emerging legal issues. He has covered topics such as federal court jurisdiction, liability risks facing premises owners, legal developments in corporate law, and unique legal issues in personal injury litigation. He has served in many leadership roles on the local, national and international level in the Armenian Church, including the Diocesan Council of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church.

Having earned his Juris Doctorate from the Massachusetts School of Law, Attorney Mian has represented a wide spectrum of clients, from privately-held firms to individuals. He specializes in handling collection matters and is known for his tenacious litigation on behalf of his clients. Above all, he is driven by a profound commitment to use his legal expertise to aid those most in need, especially vulnerable individuals and families.

Before transitioning into law, Ali made significant strides in the IT industry, a background that continues to enrich his legal practice. Outside of his professional life, Ali is an enthusiastic basketball aficionado and places the highest value on family time.

Before moving home to Hawaii and graduating from the William S. Richardson School of Law in 2014, Aaron attended the University of Nebraska on a full athletic scholarship, graduating in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Aaron’s focuses on maintaining a diverse client base and continues to represent people in areas of family law, criminal defense, and debt defense cases. When Aaron’s not in the courtroom, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying fit, and watching basketball.

Based in Littleton, Colorado, I am a licensed attorney with over 36 years of experience, practicing in both Colorado and Wyoming. I am admitted to the Colorado and Wyoming Bar Associations, as well as the U.S. District Court and Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. Throughout my career, I’ve maintained a solo practice, believing that clients are best served when their attorney is personally involved in every aspect of their case. I take pride in providing direct, one-on-one communication and ensuring clients feel confident that their concerns are being addressed with care and clarity. My practice spans a wide range of civil and criminal litigation, including jury trials, bench trials, appeals, and arbitration. A significant portion of my work focuses on consumer debt litigation—particularly medical and general business debt—where I’ve handled hundreds of cases and trials. Thomas Niksa

Thomas Niksa is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, Class of 1985. Since 2004 he has had a solo general practice in Franklin County, and has done representation throughout the entire state. Formerly he has handled numerous cases in Family, Criminal Civil Law, and Bankruptcy. The motto in his practice is always, ‘The Vermonter comes first.’
