Lisa Owings graduated in 2015 from the University of Akron with a J.D. and LL.M. in Intellectual Property. She is currently a licensed attorney in twelve states, and practices solely in debt defense, representing debtors who have run into financial difficulties.

Heather Benveniste is an accomplished attorney admitted to the Illinois bar since November 2003. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2000, followed by a law degree from UIC Law in 2003. Heather’s practice focuses on debt settlement and consumer rights, where she passionately defends defendants and debtors in litigation. Before moving home to Hawaii and graduating from the William S. Richardson School of Law in 2014, Aaron attended the University of Nebraska on a full athletic scholarship, graduating in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Aaron’s focuses on maintaining a diverse client base and continues to represent people in areas of family law, criminal defense, and debt defense cases. When Aaron’s not in the courtroom, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying fit, and watching basketball.

Mr. Garibian frequently writes articles and speaks on a wide array of emerging legal issues. He has covered topics such as federal court jurisdiction, liability risks facing premises owners, legal developments in corporate law, and unique legal issues in personal injury litigation. He has served in many leadership roles on the local, national and international level in the Armenian Church, including the Diocesan Council of the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church.

Chuck M. Douglas

Attorney Chuck M. Douglas received his bachelor’s degree in engineering from Georgia Tech in 1998, and later earned a law degree and a MBA in finance from Georgia State University’s College of Law and J. Mack Robinson College of Business, where he achieved high honors in his finance and tax law courses.   Towards the end of his law school career, Chuck worked for the Chief Counsel’s Office of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) where he tried and won several cases in U.S. Tax Court, before being recruited to work for PriceWaterhouseCoopers.  In 2017, Chuck was appointed a Magistrate Court Judge in Fulton County, Georgia – where he faithfully served on the bench for 6 years.

Currently, Attorney Douglas is the managing partner of Wakhisi-Douglas, LLC and he specializes in debt collection defense, garnishment defense, and protecting consumers’ rights against debt collector harassment and unfair debt collection practices.  Chuck’s law firm represents and defends approximately 50 consumers per month, in Georgia, Arkansas and New Hampshire, in debt collection and creditor harassment cases – stopping creditors in their tracks! He is a clever and creative attorney with a caring and diligent staff. 

Chuck has a passion for community service, and an enduring commitment to the citizens of the communities where he practices law.  He is a long-standing volunteer with several non-profit organizations, including Children’s Healthcare and Habitat for Humanity, and he is the Chairman of the board of directors for the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia.  Chuck is also a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, the Georgia Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.

Elizabeth B. Olcott is a NH lawyer. She graduated from Boston University with a BA in Psychology. She worked in the mental health field with adolescents at various facilities throughout New Hampshire and went on to University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law, graduating in 1984. She worked in the Federal District Court as Law Clerk for Judge Laughlin until taking the position as Inside Counsel for Blue Cross and Blue Shield for ten years.

Ms. Olcott opened her own practice in Concord, New Hampshire in 1995. Her general practice has a focus in consumer, family and employment law. She is experienced in litigation and administrative law.  Ms. Olcott is also a transactional attorney in areas of consumer and business law such as contracts and business relationships. In addition, due to her years as inside counsel, she is experienced in the many areas of law that impact both employees and employers.
